I recently went to a pool party and was dragged into the pool with all my clothing on. I was wearing light blue bermuda shorts and a green belt. When I tried to wash my shorts a green stain was left around the waist line and it wouldn't come out. Do you have any idea what could get that stain out?

Sounds like to me the dye in the belt was effected by the water and bled onto your shorts.. If you have already washed/dried your shorts. Im thinking the dye is set and its in there permanently. Either way i think it would of been in there.
The only other thing i can think of is. The belt was effected by a pH in the water. But that would of been corrected by washing the shorts.

Once dye bleed has dried, it's next to impossible to remove. There are dye bleed products available in laundry aisles.
