I have a Sears 32cc trimmer and I need to install a new starter cord. I've used it 4 times and it has been hard to start the first 2 but since it was not bad. The last time I tried to start it and the cord did not retract and now I think I need a new cord or spring. Any suggestions as to how to fix this or install a new one?
Thanks!

Before tearing into it, try rapping on the side of the pull rope housing with a block of wood or a hammer handle. It may be stuck and the jar could get it to wind back up again. If not, post your model #, or go to http://www3.sears.com and type in your model# and view a diagram of your trimmer to see how it is assembled.
