I currently have a recessed can light above my whirpool tub. I would like to hang a pendant light there(instead of the can) from a standard junction box. Is there any type of bracket, or easy way for me do this without removing the can light all together and having a large hole to drywall?

Although possible to do what you want, it would almost certainly violate the National Electrical Code. As you might reasonably expect, the code is very particular about what kind of electrical fixtures it allows over tubs. Unless your ceiling over the tub is about 12 feet high, code would prohibit this change.

One possibility that might work is to convert to low-voltage lighting pendants, maybe backed up with a new series GFCI breaker for the overall circuit, but this is one modification that needs to follow the code to the letter. John is right, check with an electrician before you start something like this.
