New home for me this summer. Had to replace older than the hills dishwasher and microwave both in bisque. Range and frig are in perfect working order, but both are almond. Didn't think I would care about the color difference, but I do!
I know I can have these painted, but who does such a thing? Not sure I would ever be in the mood to attempt it myself. Anyone have this done? And when all is said and done, does it wear well and worth the $$ put into it?

PattySm,
It may be a good idea to hire this out. I suggest electrostatic painting from a reputable company. Check out your phone book or call a local appliance retailer for who they would recommend.
Electrostatic paint spray system is a highly efficient technology for the application of paint to specific workpieces. Negatively charged atomized paint particles and a grounded workpiece create an electrostatic field that draws the paint particle to the workpiece, minimizing overspray.
This is fast and easy.
Hope this helps!
