i have decoupaged a wooden table with photos, and have sprayed on layers of polyurethane to seal it. the last time i sprayed the polyurethane, it left the table looking crackly instead of glassy. i am wondering if there is anything i can do to fix this blunder.

I believe the crackling was due to the poly not being able to dry properly because of excessive coats. You will probably need to sand it smooth and recoat.
