Hello all,

I have a question regarding the laminate flooring in my basement. Recently we had a heavy downpour of rain and some water leaked into some areas of my basement  . As a result, the laminate flooring got wet and although we dried the surface, some water remains trapped under some of the flooring. Do we have to remove the floors or is there anything else we can do? Thanks.

Margaret.

A dumpster will help! Pull it up, throw it away and start over.

You have just experienced why I say laminates have no place in a below grade installation! :wall:
