like a stupid fool(it was a great idea at the time) i used double sided tape to hold plastic up on my windows over the winter but now i cant get the tape off. any suggestions? :wall: :wall: :wall:

If the tape is on the glass, I would use a razor blade to scrape it off and then wipe the area with a rag with mineral spirits on it to remove the adhesive.

Blow dryer and plastic scraper should remove tape. Residue can be removed with rag and household solvent. Solvent, however, will likely degloss the latex painted window trim. An alternative to using solvents for tape residue is to rub with cooking oil and let set a few minutes, then rub off the residue. Oil will require thorough removal with degreaser cleaner as oil will cause adhesion problems when repainting.
