I have a leaky kitchen faucet (Moen single handle, 7400 series) and I would like to replace both the cartridge and o-rings. Following the simple instructions, I removed the handle cap which exposed the handle screw. After removing the screw, it says the handle body should slip right off. Well, it won't come off. I wrestled with it, lifting and twisting, with no luck. There is nothing obvious to me that is keeping it from coming off, so I'm more than a little frustrated. Replacing a faucet cartridge seems like a simple enough thing, but I can't unless I can get that handle to come off. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks for any suggestions-

It's been a while since I took one apart, but I seem to remember a tab that fits into a slot in the back. Push back some and then lift up on the handle, don't pivot the handle by pushing back and pressing down.
Good luck...
