i am trying to install a shower head i just got. but i cannot get the ball of the shower off, i have tried channel locks but it is just stripping off the finish <im guessing it is nicly corroded inside>

the spout of the shower looks like it can take a 1/4 drive, i tried that and its just destroying the inside.

i have pictures available online in hopes that it can help someone help me.

godblessbotox, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
Judging by the size of the unit, I would say it is "one-piece" with the showerarm (piece of pipe going through the wall) . You may have to remove and replace the head and arm at the same time. Good luck.
