The odor from my workout clothes are spreading to the other laundry. I have started running a hot water cycle on the washer afterwards with bleach, which has helped in the washing machine. However, I have no idea how to eliminate those odors that are still lingering in my dryer. Any ideas? Thanks.

Leave the door open and let it air out. What concerns me is that clean clothes should not leave an odor in the dryer. I would look more into getting your washer to do a better job.

Try treating your gym clothes with a protein cleaner prior to laundering. That should help remove the "odors". Sounds like to me the dry drum is staying damp too long..or damp clothes are sitting in there too long prior to cleaning.

Workout clothes that are leaving an odor in the dryer are not coming clean in the wash. Add an enzyme booster like powdered Biz to your wash cycle. Turn off washer and let laundry soak. Complete laundry cycles. Clean laundry should smell fresh.
