The error "System Phone Test Alarm Memory" occured when we tried to setup central monitoring. They said they didnt recieve any data so something is wrong on my end.

They gave me the account number and cs phone 1 and i double checked them.

The alarm kept on disconnecting the phone while my fiance was trying to troubleshoot with them ( i was at work ). So im guessing that was the line seizure and that it was working correctly. I tried just a phone test on my end and it said Phone Failure.

Its a Concord system. Any clue to what can be wrong

If I had to guess, I would say to check the phone number programming. A common error is to forget to program the 1 before the 8xx in a toll free number.

I double checked the phone number and its right
1 866 xxxxxxx

Im going to see if i can troubleshoot with them now.

Thanks for the 1 8xx tip at first i wasnt sure if i added it .

Check your RJ31X phone jack. It is usually located inside the control panel. It might be wired wrong. The proper wiring should be from the phone block outside your home into the RJ31X. The red should be connected to the red terminal on the RJ31X and the green to the green on the RJ31X. The yellow should be connected to the brown and the black connected to the grey. On the cover of the panel there is a drawing of the proper wiring for the panel. From left to right it should be red, grey, brown, and green. There should be a phone cord installed from the security panel to the RJ31X. Also back outside, connect your regular phone lines to the yellow and black of the wire that runs to your alarm. The red and green should be the last thing you connect to the red and green terminals on the phone block outside your home. If none of these tips help, remove the RJ31X from the system, direct wire your incoming phone line to the panel. Red to red, green to green, yellow to brown, and black to grey. If that fails, there is likely a problem with the panel.
