I have a electronic ignition gas oven. It seems to be taking longer and longer for the oven to light. Is there a simple fix for this?

Hi:dnbr

The best solution to the problem is to replace the glow coil. These parts are usually good for about 5 years.

Time and age causes them to become weak and take a long time to reach the temperature needed to ignite gas.

Check the other postings, in the archives of this forum, for instructions, tips and cautions regarding the replacing of glow coils in ovens.
