The old tub is finally out, and it's steel. I remember reading here that old steel tubs can be reused (by someone other than me). Could someone please re-post the info on how to find a place or person who wants a used steel tub? Or should it just go to the dump?
(Thanks for earlier comments re getting this tub out -- the drainpipe wouldn't completely let go until it broke off.)

i would guess u could sell it by the pound at the scrap yard?

Many people find that burying them and using for planters is a great recycle thing. It would be up to you if you want to mess with waiting for someone to answer an ad you place in the paper either selling or giving it away.
