What is the proper way to handle a seam when installing a linoleum floor? I will have one about 3 feet long by a walk-in door. Do you just align the two pieces and glue them down or is there something additional that should be done? Thanks.

hi
to do a pro job here is what you do
1. over lap the linoleum so the pattern match
2. used a strait edge and place it on the seam of the pattern closes to the border ot the pattern
then used a good sharp utility knife and cut thru both layers
then lift a section and remove the cut piece out
then you glue it down making sure that both section are well glue
3. get a seam sealler from the store you bought the linoleum
good luck
