Hi, this is suednom. I recently just dropped a small cap down my bathroom sink. The problem is, however, that while examining the drain pipe below I accidentally twisted the pipe too hard, and the metal pipe broke in half. I don't know what to do. The metal pipe was already very weak and rusted. But still, what should I do? Please send any advice. That would be much appreciated.

suednom, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
If the pipe goes through the wall (rather than through the floor) there should be a nut at the wall. Turn this counter-clockwise and you should be able to remove the piping back to the trap by just pulling it out of the wall.. You can buy replacement piping in chrome or PVC. Easy to repair. Good luck and reply back with any problems.
