Electronic Alarms and Home Security Devices - DSC 832 showing all zones open

Hi everyone, this is my first attempt at alarm installation so please forgive if this problem sounds stupid or trivial. I'm installing a DSC 832 with 3 door contacts, 2 motions, and 2 smokes. A friend who knows a little about alarm installation suggested that since this was my first install, I should connect everything on a table first and program just to get the feel for everything. I did this and everything worked great so I ran wire through my house and connected everything, reprogrammed the panel and now all of my zones show as open. I've tried resetting the panel back to factory defaults (999 in program mode) but that hasn't helped either. Any suggestions would be helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Did you put the zone resistors on the zone loops? If you don't want to use them, you can turn off the requirement for zone EOLRs in programming.
