Got a closet shower in the basement hot cold handles. When I turn the cold water on it runs for 20 seconds and then I hear a loud thump the water pressure drops to a drizzle. When I turn the knob further the water starts running again but not at full force. This only happens with the cold water, there is no other water running in the house at all when this happens and it only happens in the basement shower. Any suggestions on what to do. :wall:

Take the cold stem out of the faucet and rebuild it with a new seat washer.....that is most likely your problem.
