I want to replace an old manual Janitrol thermostat with a new Tempstar T8011R 1121 (2). However the wires do not match. I have the following six wires connected to the Janitrol
y to y
G to G
R to R
O to Purple
W2 to white
E is not connected to anything
C to Blue

The Tempstar has G,C,R,W1,Y,L,W2,E,B,O
I would connect G to G,
C to Blue as above,
R to R,
W1 to nothing
Y to Y
L to nothing
W2 to White as above
E to nothing
B to nothing
O to Purple
Am I doing this right? Any help would be appreciated.

did it come with a book it should tell you what other letters are and should tell you if you need to jump w1 w2 also look at your unit book as well it should show you if other wires are needed
