Hello, New member here. We currently have bifold doors on our laundry closet. Unfortunately the closetis located in the dining room/kitchen area. We would like to use nice solid doors but we are not sure if this is safe due to air flow. We have an electric washer & dryer. Thanks for any feedback.

You are correct re the airflow issue.
During W/D use, the doors would be open, so I think with an electric dryer you should be OK.
Residual moisture is still gonna be a problem with the doors closed.
You can resolve that & still have solid doors.
Cutting the doors short at the bottom will give some airflow.
Adding a wall vent or two may create adequate airflow. You just need to find unobtrusive locations for vents. Think about vents in the floor under the W/D.
Additionally, I have seen well made paneled doors that have the lower portion in louvers. Matching your existing is probably a high priority, so that may not fly.
