:coffee: I am putting in a Home theatre system in my unfinished basement prior to the drywaller coming over. Are there an issues if I want to put them into cubbies in the wall or better if I mount them on the wall. The book does not say?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Are these bookshelf or cubes? If you waqnt them in the wall, build the box yourself by adding two 2x4s to the studs to creat a box. Run the wire into this box. The drywallers will not cover it if you ask.

Building them into the wall was my hope. I will frame it out no problem. what I didn't know was if putting them into the wall if I would loose sound quality?

I'm not sure about sound quality, but you would lose insualtion value if they take up space in an exterior wall because you would probably would have to remove insulation.
