My Ice maker stopped making ice. Then after several days after, it made a few cubes which where hollow. Anything I can check ???

Think I found the problem. The water line (copper pipe) coming out of the wall was leaking at the connection. I put some pipe sealer on the threads and re-tightened it. Waiting now to see if it is still leaking. If it is, I guess I need a new line???

Also, How much do I need to turn the water handle on?? It doesn't need to be turned all the way on, just a open it a little?

okay, the line is fine. It appears to be leaking at the base of the water spicket. Can I just tighten it up, or will I need a new one??

Part III :wall:

when I try and tighen the base of the water spicket, the entire pipe below the spicket turns too. I used some vice grips to try and just turn the spicket but it turns and turns but never loosens.
