My Wife and I are thinking of building a small enclosure (2' Deep, 6' High and 8' long) with a PVC frame and plastic sheeting to enclose it for starting seedlings and winter protection for some plants. We went to the library and got a few books about greenhouses and were surprised by all of the detail that they covered such as humidity control, proper air circulation, etc.
Can anyone give us advice as to how we could approach our project without spending a bunch yet get the basic function of a greenhouse.
THANKS,
Don & Peg

All I know is that you ought to create openings on both ends so that you can open it up and get some ventilation if it starts to get too hot. Zipwall makes zippers that go on plastic, which would work real well for a small DIY greenhouse.

For my greenhouse, I have been using curtain-wall products and it has proved well so far as it gives a prompt service.:)
