please help i have an older model dryer always worked great the other day i stopped heating the timer was'nt working at first but that is now working just by bumping the dryer anyway it still is not heating what should i do first please :coffee:

i had a problem with my GE dryer and all i did was get the model number and found a local appliance parts place and did the repair myself. what i did was replace the the entire heating element. it wasnt really all that hard to do and it has worked fine ever since.
