Hello,
Got a plumber friend of the family going to put a bathroom in on my 3rd floor for us. I have the measurements of the area that he is going to be putting it in and my 1st step (after getting permits) is to get a carpenter or someone in to pull up the floor in this area for him to come in and run the plumbing.
Right now there is hardwood flooring where the bathroom is about to be.
I think this may be one part of the project I can do myself to save some money, and just wondering if anyone out there has some FYI for me about pulling said section of flooring up and getting it ready for the plumber.

Assuming you're replacing the entire floor with tile or another flooring material...
get a 3-4 foot gorilla bar, a short, flat wonder bar and a hammer.
go to town.
Pliers to take out nails and/or staples when needed. Gloves and eye protection are probably good idea.
remove baseboards, obviously move out any furniture, start at a room edge or heater vent and pry up that wood. Pretty straightforward hard work.
