anyone have experience with grout stains. the grout just installed came out 2 colors, neither the intended color. it came out mostly off white when it was supposed to be a cocoa color. mixed according to instructions, used additive instead of water, mixed properly. i just cant figure out what happened. the excess grout in the bucket is the correct color. now, i just want the 2 colors to match up. i have been told colorants look too painted so im looking into stain sealers. anyone have any advice.

If you scratch the grout, is it the right color underneath?:)
