I have a 10x15 bedroom with a 3 foot-wide window in the middle of two adjacent walls. I have matching curtains that almost reach the floor, but one of the windows is directly above a radiator that I need to leave uncovered. Before I take a pair of scissors to the curtain(s), can you tell me whether it will look strange to have two different lengths of curtain in the same room? Any other ideas for window coverings that could solve this problem?

you have a 3' window centered on one wall............where's the other window??
yes, 2 different length curtains in one bedroom will look odd. use sill or apron length curtains on both windows. or just blinds or shades or shutters with a valance.
