I have am moving into a square average size apartment bedroom with white walls. There is one large window taking up one of the walls and the rest are just bare- painted a neutral white color. My bedding is all white- lots of pillows. I don't have any other furniture. My picture frames and wall shelves are the dark brown color that is popular with Pottery Barn right now. I was wondering what color paint I should paint the walls to give it a modern, elegant but comfortable feeling? Should I paint all walls or just the one behind the bed? I would like the room to feel bigger and brighter. Any help would be appreciated!

your options are vitually endless with white bedding. look in catalogs for inspiration, or find a color scheme you like in a multi-colored item such as an area rug, bath towels, artwork, pajamas, anything! color is very personal - pick your favorite - you don't want to paint your walls MY favorite color!!
