Just about finished installing 500 sq ft of 3 1/4" Pre-Finished Hardwood floors. Thanks for all the great info here!
One question...I am noticing on some of the boards real thick scuff marks. Almost like glue or maybe polyurethane buildup? I can sort of scratch most of it off with my fingernail. Does anyone know what this can be, and how to clean it? Are there some really good cleaning products that wont hurt the wood anyone can recommend? Thanks All!

That is why you always order extra for waste & culling out the boards that you don't want in the installation. Known bad flooring always gets more waste and culling factored into the order.
Can't say from my monitor what it is, or if it can even be corrected without board replacement.

I have plenty extra actually....What is the easiest way to replace a board once it's been installed?
Thanks

Cut the board out and cut the bottom of the groove off the groove side. Glue it in or nail it in.
