We are building a concrete block house. On the exterior of the block will be a thin layer of concrete then a dimpled membrane then rigid foam board then our choice of either vinyl siding, weather boards, or artificial stone.
My question is do I need to have something installed in the block work for the dimpled membrane, rigid foam board, and choice of exterior to attach to ?
It didn't seem right to concrete nail the dimpled membrane, then the foam board, ect...too many holes ? Seems to defeat the purpose of the methods.
And if I had brick ties then I would have to get it through all of them as well.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks
