It's 90°F / 45% RH outside today------How is the strength of a concrete driveway affected by the temperature at which it cures?

Moisture -
The more moisture, the better concrete cures. Water on the surface or a curing compound sprayed on preventing it from drying out. Concrete cannot cure if it is dry.

Temperature -
Keeping the temperature down in the summer will give you better concrete in the long run. If you wet the surface, the evaporation will cool the concrete.

In the winter, you need to keep the concrete warmer to keep the cement hydrationg., We don't have to worry this now.

Age -
The 28 day myth refers to laboratory conditions. Concrete gains most of its strength in the first few days during the summer and this year is no different. Your concrete will be curing faster than concrete in a laboratory. The older the concrete, the less you have to do and the less effect you have on the result. - Just be realistic.
