I just found a new electric heating system called "Econo-Heat" that seems to be both inexpensive and extremely efficient. Their web-site is http://www.eheat.com/
Has anyone seen this before? Evidently it only uses 400 watts to heat an 800 cu.ft. space - Ie: a 10'x10'x8' room.
I'm thinking of trying it in a new bedroom/bath addition in a Mountain vacation home. I would use 2 units in the bedroom (12'x15') and 1 of the smaller ones in the bath. I woould install a thermostat in the bedroom but just use a timer or on/off switch in the bath. As near as I can tell this would cost me less than $300.

There was a thread on here a while back on these and the feedback was positive. They seem to do a pretty good job.
