I bought a new fan motor, and it worked great for 5 mins. When I shut it off to go ahead and bolt everything together, the unit started spinning backwards!!!! No matter what I try it will not spin at all the correct way. What happen? This unit according to the shop is not a 2 way spinner. It only spins clockwise.

Some motors, if wired incorrectly will spin in the wrong direction. Also, the direction of rotation on some motors is labled from the lead (wiring) end while others is from the shaft end. If yours is labeled "CWLE" that means clockwise from the lead end. If it does not specify lead end, rotation is usually from the shaft end.
