My grandmother's home is being demolished in a couple of weeks (8/21) and I'm frantically looking for a masonry salvage contractor to remove an 11' limestone mantle and associated masonry trim from a beautiful old fireplace. House dates from 1928 and is located in western KY. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Any good masonry contractor can be a masonry salvage contractor. He has the knowledge of how it may be built plus the manpoer and equipment to handle the mantle and whatever.

Call a large masonry supplier for recommendations.
