the axle type on my boat trailer uses the tab type nut lock. The ones on the axle were so mangled up that i couldn't tell if they were installed correctly or not. There is one solid washer and the tab type washer. Can some one tell me the proper sequence for installing them? You can tell that i am new to boating or i wouldn't be asking this type of question. It may look mangled, one washer is a lock. Can you bend the tabs? you may want to install some bearing buddies, they help seal out the water.
