I've got a 27 inch freestanding range that needs to be replaced. What are my options for replacing. Everything I can find is 30" ranges which is standard now. I am replacing a range that is over 30 years old.

Hello: pilotzs
About the only option is to resize the opening to fit the current size of range to be installed. Ranges, like may other items, have become standardized to reduce manufacturing costs. Only the most popular sizes are made. The size you need, 27 inch, may not be sold in residential appliance sales stores, made any longer or sold only for small apartment complexes, etc.
