Here our some helpfull hints & tips.

Things to try or to remember-

Most MFG, will honor your warranty, give or take 10-15 days after your warranty is up. Not all but some do offer some lattitude.

Saving the reciept and box is always a plus. Helpfull tip, tape it onto the underneath of the unit.

If the item is a gift, make sure to state than when you call the MFG for warranty.

most people don't know but that warranty card, you can send in when you buy or get a gift, Does not count towards logging your info. If you want to have a file logged you have to call the MFG and request a file be made and give the info.

Some MFg's will over to help with the labor, if you are only under your parts warranty.

Also, Some mfg's will send you a call tag upon request. ( A call tag is them sending you a shipping label, they pay for the shipping) this process is slower, but it is free.

Some MFG's have what is called a 1 time consession, You have to request it ! Not all have this policy. Example they might give you some type of break or repair on the item if it is say 6 months out of warranty.

Every MFG is different with there policy's !

A mfg is suppose to have parts for there product for ten years. After that they no longer have to carry the parts for the product.

A MFg will not tell there customers if they have a known issue with a product model. There is only a recall if the product is a danger to the person.

Example - shock, spark, fire.

The MFG subs out the warranty and tech support for their product. That center is not allowed to tell you if the product has a known issue, unless they are given something from MFG to say that they do.

Most call centers, all calls are monitored, and sad to say have a average call time they have to keep, most are from 2 to 3 minutes. So dont feel pressured to end the call soon if the matter is not resolved.

They have a chain of command also, if the person is rude or not professional or you are not happy with there responce, always ask to speak with the next up in command.

Hope this info is helpfull to some,
