Hi;
I have always did 5 gallon container gardening on my 20 x30 concrete patio great results. Theze were timed pots for watering and required that I reposition them ever spring and fall.
Recently I suffered a 50% dislocation of my spine and have been told that lifting those pots will be a sentence to a wheel chair. I am only 58!!!!
I can do a reasonable amount of work and am handy with my hands and tools. What I would like to do is build a planter around my deck that we can handle (wife and I).
I envision a planter going seven (7) feet with a 90 left turn for twenty (20) feet with partitions. Approximatley 1x 2 dimensions. I know that Cedar and redwood are usually utilized for this but I was wondering if the the new composite material available for decks is sufficent for consumerable planters.
Anyone know of availble plans or can help me with some info?
