i have a small amount of r 12 i found in my auto shop can i charge my home a/c with this ? is r 12 & r 22 compatible ? :thinker:

No, do not do that, the temp curve of R12 is drastically different from R22 besdies R22 is about three bucks a pound and the R12 is about 28 bucks a pound.

You can't add R-12 to an R-22 unit, you can't add any type freon at all unless your EPA certified, that's the law.
