hello.....both the unit outside and the blower in the garage is operating, but air temp coming out of the vents is not any cooler. reset circuit breakers, and checked control box outside to see if there was something I could fix. no luck. any suggestions?? thanks in advance.....

Check the copper tubes connected to the outdoor unit. The large one (usually covered in black foam insulation) should be cold & wet while the small one should be warm. If both are the same temp, your compressor is probably not running.

Replace the capacitor for the compressor. They are cheap and seem to be a popular item at the HVAC suuply houses. Hot weather seems to stress them Git-R-Done Post back if that did not cure the problem Heck post back and let us know if it did!

I agree with Grady..coming from your outsuint while runing the larger copper line should be cold and wet and the smaller one warm, it is possible that your low on freon, will have to call in a tech though to check it out for you, let us know. :)
