Does anybody know if you can change a top loading freezer into a beer keg cooler. maybe you can just change out the thermostat? Beer keg coolers are around $400, and freezers are only about 175 for the same size. Does anybody have any ideas.

All the set-ups I have seen use a refrigerator for the keg and the freezer section to keep them mugs frosty cold. Price should be about the same. Good luck.
