I have central heat and air and today the unit has not blown cold air at all! I checked all the breakers and they are on. The coils do have condensation on them. I'm not sure what else to do! I hate to call out a repairman and then it be something easy to fix. Money is also a major factor!! Do you have any suggestions for me?? I moved the thermostat to 68 and still not cold!! Please any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I read the other post about things to check and still have no idea what else to check. I checked the lines outside and one( copper one) is cold and the other one is hot. The unit is blowing very warm air out. It is loud as always ( just like all my neighbors)! I cleaned the coils and the filter and the inside of the unit (indoors). I'm not sure about the outside part. Any advice or tips would be great! Thanks again, Jenn

How hot is hot is the liquid (small) line?

Suction (Larger) line sweaty?

is the outdoor fan running and blowing air? What's the outdoor and indoor temp?

Thank you for responding, Jay! It is not so hot right now! I turned the thermostat down to about 65 and it cooled it off some. The small line outside was warm not really hot. The other line was cold. The fan is blowing well, but pretty warm air! It is hot outside. I live in South Carolina, so it has been in the 100's here this month. Today wasn't as bad. I'm not sure of the temp. today, but I would say in the 90's. The air conditioner usually cools this house too well! But today not at all.

Are you able to take a temp reading just before the blower, and just after the coil? i want to see what your temp drop is.
