quiet a/c window unit...

hello all; quick question...
Who is making the quietest a/c window unit now? I have a Sharp 8500btu; 8yrs old now with the Library Quiet feature which I found to be good.

I tried the Whirlpool series and found they were very noisy; talk about false claims! Anyway, just curious as to what's on the market now.

I am also looking at a "thru the wall" system. The office just installed one and I'm impressed; two blowers with one compressor and very quiet indeed.

I'm not sure who makes the quietest window unit. Maybe in your research the different manufactures will list decibal levals.

In your office is it a thru the wall unit or a mini-split?? Either way you would go through a supplier like Grainger or you may find them on-line.
