Hi, Can someone give me an idea of what might cause this problem? I wasn't getting any cool air so I went outside to the heat pump and it wasn't on. no fan. no compressor. I checked all the fuses and breakers and they checked out ok. I just had the freon checked a few weeks ago and it is ok. I'm not sure if this is going to be expensive. Hope not.

Did he put to much in and you hit high head. Does the unit there have a reset for high head???? just push it in is all. Doest the contactor pull in ???? is there 24 volts there when its calling for cool? Will the unit run if you push the contactor in with a stick???? filter clean in the blower???You have lots of ifs ifs here yet

The contactor doesn't push in by itself, but if I push it in the fan comes on but the compressor doesnt. the filter is clean. Where would the reset button be for high head? Where do I put my voltmeter to check for 24 volts?
