I have Marazzi ceramiche tile made in Italy in my kitchen. It is old and has lost it's glaze I would like to replace it with the same tile but have been unable to find it.
On the bottom it says "marfort" I think this is the style. Any help would be appreciated. If I can't replace it does anyone know how to refinish this tile?
Hi Special-Ed;
The only thing I can tell you to do on a matter like this one is check out American Marrzzi's website and contact them and see if they still make the style of your tile.
Chances are they don't. Unfortunately tile companys discontinue styles and colors as often as I change my socks, and its very hard to find tile that was made even a few years ago.
As for refinishing tile I know it can be done but, I know nothing about it. Maybe one of the other folks here may know more about that aspect of tile.
Marazzi Tile (part of the Marazzi Group) here in America is located just outside Dallas, Texas and you can see what they have to offer and, contact them at this website. www.americanmarazzi.com (http://www.americanmarazzi.com)
I hope you find the answer that you seek sorry I could not be of more help.
Good Luck and Regards,
