Hello,

I was wondering if anyone would have some experience (especially bad ones) to share about the product Rainhandler, a replacement product for conventional gutters. I've seen good ones from the dealer but didn't know if the opinions were biased. Thanks.

I have not had any experience with Rainhandlers. I have had experience with torrential rainfall coming off my roof making its way down to my basement walls, resulting in a leak! The gutter thing is so frustrating. I finally did this - I bought flexible perforated plastic pipe that is used for french drains. $3.50 per ten foot section. I simply laid it in my gutter and it works great! It allows the water to flow in the gutter and it keeps the clutter out. Sure some accumulates right at the top but it does not restrict water flow. So for the money, it is the best gutter solution for me. You may have to cut it wherever those supports cover the top of the gutter but a box cutter does a great job on that - be careful when cutting please.
