I have a coleman evecon heat pump.
It doesn't cool at all. I removed and replaced the T/stat with a Honeywell Heatpump stat. Still no dice.
I can push the button in the middle of the large relay and turn on the condenser unit, after setting the T/stat to cool, which turns on teh air handler but not the condenser.
It doesn't cool the house any.
Just turning on the cool only runs the air handler.
The compressor makes cold freon, which returns to the Air handler, but it only produces air at about 77/78 degrees F.
Turning the T/stat to cold, does not turn on the condenser at all.
WHen I trip the cond, on, the compressor and the fan both run.
I don't know why the condesnor will not cycle on, I don't know why it doesn't cool.
Any help out there?
