Our Whirlpool washing machine has just started to slowly drip water into the clothes basket inside, even though the machine is turned off. In 24 hours, about 2" of water accumulates in it. I've been working like crazy and haven't had a chance to open it up and check it out. Anything I should be looking for specifically?
Thanks.
Thanks.

leenetworx,
The water fill solenoid valve is likely worn or has a bit of dirt in it.
Considering that this would not be a very expensive part you would do well to replace it.
Also, there is a possibility it could get worse and overfill the machine.
Would be a good idea to shut the water off after machine use untill you fix it.
The solenoid on most machines is normally where the hose connects.

Thanks for the fast reply. I will take a look at that closely once I get a chance this weekend. Thanks!
