While remodeling my kitchen I installed ceramic tile with an underlayment, increasing the floor height approx. 1/2"-3/4". Now my range is higher than the countertop and looks terrible. The feet are as low as they will go. Should I have left the tile out from under the range of rush-out and buy another range? Thanks for any suggestions.

I think you did the right thing by going under the range. When we do kitchens, if we don't go all the way under the range, we at least go under the front legs, which is the same thing height-wise.

You can lower the stove a little more by removing the feet entirely. Make sure there is still clearance for the bottom drawer, though (drawer, broiler, whatever). Lift the range a little, and screw the feet all the way out.
