I have a PC1555 I have trouble lite 8 is on after I shut the system down to replace the battery.It says it needs to reset the system time but when I enter *6 then 1 as the manual says it beeps before I can enter the time. It only excepts 3 inputs and the manual says to enter the time on a 24 hr clock and the date.but even when I try to input the date it does the same thing. Thank You

You may have misread the instructions. The command is *6 + [master code] + 1. Then you enter the time setting keystrokes.
