I have just had light beige ceramic tile installed in my kitchen, dining, and hallway area. The grout is light beige also. What is THE best grout sealer? The installer recommended Aqua Mix. I've heard that there's another one called 511 Impregnator. What's the best method of application? Do sealers stain glazed ceramic tile?

Hi Beth;
Aqua Mix makes an excellent sealer (never heard of the other one !)
www.aquamix.com (http://www.aquamix.com)
And to answer your other question I personally use a 1" brush to apply sealer but, there are many ways to do it.
And no the sealer will not stain glazed tile generally speaking the glaze is too hard to accept it anyway! (unglazed tile is of course a whole other ball game!)
Good Luck and follow the directions on the sealer container!

Beth,

The ceramic floor tiles we are using these days are dense to the point that they won't accept sealer, so you're faced with the proposition of sealing the grout while keeping the product off the tiles. You do this with a little brush or other small applicator. Keep a rag handy to wipe excess sealer off the edges of the tiles.

Don't get in a rush. Trying to do too much at once will result in "the attitude," and that's not good.

As Rich said, Aqua-mix is good. So is Custom brand. I've not heard of the other stuff either.
